Meet Michaela
Michaela Talks About Herself
I grew up in Texas (Dallas & Austin) and still miss the hot weather. I had a happy childhood and have always been close to both my parents. I am an only child but have always been surrounded by many people to whom I feel very close. I have a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. I have several good friends that I have known for a long time, including my best friend, Elisa, who I met in high school. I am godmother to her 12-year old daughter Calliope. I attended a high school for the visual and performing arts in Dallas. It was a great learning environment where individual creativity was nurtured. I majored in jewelry making in high school where I spent countless hours before and after school in the jewelry studio. I have recently set up a studio in our house and have been enjoying getting back into jewelry-making.

I am very organized and have a natural tendency to create order where others only see chaos. I also love power tools, can program just about any electronic gadget, and I like figuring out how to fix things. I enjoy cooking, particularly when it involves baking sweets or any breakfast item.

Dale Talks About Michaela
Michaela is the most loving person I know. She has the warmest heart and the kindest intentions of anyone I’ve ever met. I have never seen her act out of anger or spite with anyone. At the same time, she has an incredibly strong sense of right and wrong and she is very smart. Cats and children have always gravitated to Michaela. She has an odd knack of immediately finding their soft spots and she has an amazing playfulness. She also makes the best darn lemon bars on the planet.
